Xp home installation

When i go to install my copy of windows xp...i get to the end user
agreement...scroll down to the end of it...and where it says hit f8 to
agree...i try and press it and nothing happens....any suggestions? i tried
calling microsoft support but since i have a oem version of windows they wont
help me without charging me...what do i do?
 
You are using a keyboard that has an F-Lock function. You have to press the
F-Lock key to "enable" the normal F key functions. Then press F8.
