xp home installation problems

As I install windows xp, at about 50 minutes left in the
process of initial installation I get a blue stop screen
with the code, 0x0000007e. How do I troubleshoot.

Give us some more details on what you are doing. Is this an upgrade? Retail
version of XP or OEM? Complete details about the error message? Did you
check the system for compatibility with XP?
