If you are using Windows XP and have the instant task switch enabled with
user "switching" while others still stay logged on (fast user switching I
think)... you can do Ctrl alt del and go to users and logoff from there.
Also, you can have the application :"Logoff" run when the users are idle
through Scheduled Tasks. If you go to start... run... logoff (no extension)
and press OK... guess what... it logs you out and brings you back to the
login screen.
I dont know if there is any other way other than scheduled tasks to make
this embedded DOSrun program to run at idle... perhaps in another program.
Also, this is on Windows XP only... I tried it at school with Windows 2000
and it didnt work :-(
The above works for shutdown, too. just type shutdown instead of logoff.
Hopes this helps you somehow... I am new here, too so please tell me if I am
not supposed to post or something...
