I have an IBM T22 laptop with a Pentium III & 512k
memory. I upgraded to XP from Win98 and the internet
connection [Earthlink Dial-up] has gone from normal "dial-
up slow" to timeout. After starting up the machine and
connecting to the internet, I wait [3-5 minutes] and then
I get the "Page cannot be displayed" message.
I tried to connect to the microsoft page to download the
XP Home Edition service pack and the machine times out
before the page can load.
Any ideas on how to fix? This is really important - my
wife gave me an iPod for a gift and the thing's sitting
unused until I can get this worked out.
Thanks,
