Everytime I select Restore I get an error message and the program must be
terminated. The message includes:

AppName: rstrui.exe AppVer: 5.1.2600.2180 ModName:
srrstr.dll

ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00009826

I checked retore system by using Run - CMD and found the restore system is
running normally. Both files listed above are listed as installed in
Windows32. I thought perhaps if I copied these two files from another
computer and reload them in my failed computer and that it would fix the
problem. Well Windows wouldn't allow me to mess with those files.

I removed a few programs from my computer some months ago and noted the
errors shortly there after.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks, Jamie Marie

Ron thanks for the help. I followed the instructions on the link you
provided. Nothing seemed to help. But there was a suggesting to order SP2
CD from Microsoft. I had a brain storm yesterday to just uninstall SP2 and
just reinstall it again. Well I got a message the a list of programs may be
damaged, so I canceled that idea and just wait for the CD. I really hope
this will work.

Again, thanks ~ Jamie Marie
