XP Home can't ping default gateway

But it can ping 127.0.0.1 and my computer.

But other guys in the network can.

If I enable DHCP, there is no default way IP address.

You have to post more information! What is your network setup? Wireless
or wired? Which hotfixes do you have on your system? Did the network
setup ever work, or are you trying to make it work for the first time?

The networking function of my laptop doesn't work and I cannot get access the web.

[Things that may cause this happen]
I deleted the SahAgent, WUpdater, the two Spyware/Adware, on hard disk and registry.

The SahAgent is a WinSocket Layer 2 software.

[Things that happened after that]
I used SpyKiller to scan and clean, which made the networking function of my laptop not working.

[What I have done after that]
1. Reintalled XP Home (upgrade);
2. Did what descriped in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 329441 (You Cannot Create a Network Connection After You Restore Windows XP) by modifying the registry;

[Information on using ping]
My laptop is DHCP enabled, which could get an IP from DHCP server. But now it doesn't work.

It cannot get an IP similar to before. It only has an autoconfigured IP address, which doesn't have a default gateway.

ping works fine for 127.0.0.1 and computer IP.

If I disable DHCP and use previous IP, ping doesn't work for the default gateway.

You wrote a lot of stuff...but didn't answer the important questions about
your network layout and setup; equipment used, and whether the network
setup worked before, or you are starting a new setup.
