We have a two PC network at home. PC1 has XP Pro, is
connected to a printer and directly connects to an ADSL
service on a DSL 200 modem. PC2 runs XP home and is
networked to PC1 and connects to the internet via PCI.
The problem is minor but annoying, as they all are I
suppose. I can print from either PC and access the
internet no worries (as long as PC1 is on and that's no
problem). PC2 can 'see' PC1 but not the other way
round. Thus if I want to share or move a file on the
network from PC1 to PC2 I have to put it in shared docs
on PC1 then go to PC2 and retrieve it from PC1; whrereas
I can drop files straight into PC1 from PC2. Any
suggestions - KISS principle needs to be applied as the
second 'S' is very much appropriate for me!
Cheers
