I have a Win XP home pc accessing the internet thru a
wireless nic going to a wireless gateway. I also want the
pc next to it to access the internet thru this pc with a
xover cable using the onboard ethernet nic. I can get the
lan to work between the 2 pc's but I can't get the 2nd pc
to access the internet. I have set static ip addresses on
both pc's with the right netmask but with no success. Any
ideas will be appreciated. Thank you. LW

Remove the static IP addresses from both computers and configure them
to obtain an IP address automatically. If you've enabled Internet
Connection Sharing on XP Home, disable it.

Open the Network Connections folder on XP Home and create a network
bridge between the wireless and wired network connections. I've
written a web page with details:

XP ICS - Network Bridge
