Hi out there...

We've an XP HOME system where we've created 3 users... 2 of the 3 users do
NOT show up on the logon screen nor via Control Panel / User Accounts. But,
when we try to create the 2 missing users again... XP says they already
exist.

Anyone know how to access these "ghost" user accounts?? Really doesn't
matter if the solution is to "resurrect", delete or whatever...

MS Knowledge Base says symptoms are when accounts are disabled but fix
provided is only available for XP PRO!

Thanks in advance!!

The best way to manage user is by right-click on My
computer and Manage. Then you go into Local Users and
groups and you should see all the local accounts under
Users.

Hope this help

Hi Ka Kit...

Thanks for trying but that's not an XP HOME option... only XP Pro and above.

The only "user account" option I can find is under Control Panel and it only
gives add/delete/change password choices... BUT... the real kicker is... the
two "missing" users don't show up there... so I can't even delete them and
start all over again. But, as I mentioned earlier, when I try to add these
guys... XP says they already exist!

Hope you have another idea!!
Steve
