Rod, I am so grateful to you for pointing me in the right direction.
My "Recover Lost Data restored the drive and I chose all the files I
wanted to save from that drive to my SATA drive and everything went
well. I am so relieved and send a {{{{{Rod}}}} Thanks again.
: Thanks, I have Stompsoft's Recover Lost Data. It is real good
also.
: I'll be back to let you know the progress. Thnx again.
:
: Oh, I noticed that my two SATA drives showed up in Disk Management
as
: IDE...go figure... one thing at a time. <g>

::
:: OK, that's important. You can see XP turn up its nose at NTFS
: formatted
:: drives when other systems like knoppix are happy to read them fine.
::
:: That doesnt happen with FAT32 drives.

::
:: Then something must have stomped on the partition table etc.
::
:: You need to use some recovery software to see the files again.
::
:: I like Easy Recovery Pro, but its not cheap if you need to pay for
: it.
::

::
:: No, not now that you have said that its FAT32 formatted,
:: you need to use a recovery program instead.
