We just installed XP on Win2000 machines. Now, our programs always default
to the C: directory when we look for files. Previously a program would
"remember" where files specific to that program were stored, and go directly
to thos locations.

Is there a setting to adjust in XP?
Thanks

Sean

That is something that should be added into the software you are using, not
something built into the operating system. You will notice some programs do
remember, while others do not.
