XP Help & Support Index of topics

The index of topics does not open in XP's Help and
Support. All I get in the left side is the small square
with the red, blue and green geometric figures. I have no
idea when it was lost. I do know that it was there at some
point in the past. Any advice as to how I can get it back
would be very much appreciated.
 
This was the best web site i'd ever seen. I spent two days trying to figure
out this problem, called tech support and everything, with no help. Thanks
