My new installation of XP continues to hang from time to time without
a noticable reason.
The machine used to ran XP in the past without problems. From some
reason I had to reinstall the OS and then the problem began.
Connecting/Disconnecting all PCI cards didn't solve the problem, the
machine continue to hang.
In the event log there are no messages at all concerning these hangs.
Two suspcious PCI card (an old v92 modem and a problematic SCSI driver
are connected but not istalled (no drivers).
I suspect this is a physical problem with the video adapter or the
memory.
How can I verify the problematic device, if any?
I saw many msg here about it, but still, they do not supply a solution
to my problem.
thank you
