XP goes to safe mode after network delay

I've had several machines spontaneously go into safe mode
after experiencing an unexpected network delay. This has
happened when using the internet, wan apps and email so
I'm assuming its a "feature" in XP. I can't find any info
on this. Does anyone know the cause or the fix?

Yes, My computer just started doing this a couple days

ago. I also have a pop up saying my network cable is
disconnected. Maybe there is something too this. I think
other people are having these problems too. Lorraine
