XP freezes up computer when switching between users

XP freezes up computer when switching between users,
screen goes black and a box generated by my monitor
says "video components not supported". CPU locks and I
have to restart. This computer, monitor, and XP is brand
new. What do I do? Thanks.

If it's brand new, start immediately with the vendor. It should be
under warranty.

If they can't help, check with the video manufacturer. They may have
a driver update.
