Rocky Click to expand... install it with a seperate partition for the swap files and any temp files being created by the edit software. install a second harddrive purely for the footage you are capturing. do not install any anti-virus software unless you will be connecting the edit machine to a network/internet switch off the network connection and anti-virus while editing. switch off write behind cacheing switch off indexing on all drives. visit www.computervideo.net where answers to all video editing questions can be asked / answered.
