Xp firewall blocking web-desktop

Have set up remote web desktop on a PC. Works great. I can fire up IE and
connect from another PC (on the same network). But only if I disable the
xp-built-in-firewall on the remotely-controlled-PC.

But I have checked the settings of the firewall, and TCP 3389 is on the
exception-list, and I haven't changed ports or anything. And I haven't
checked the "do not allow exceptions".

So why does the firewall block me ? As soon as I turn it off, I can
remote-control it, if turn it on (with the exceptions in place) I can't
connect to the tsweb

Is your web port 80 blocked on windows firewall?

Yup. Now it isn't. Thx for the solution. But strange that winxp didn't fix
all this by itself when I installed the tsweb... it said that it would...
