Have set up remote web desktop on a PC. Works great. I can fire up IE and
connect from another PC (on the same network). But only if I disable the
xp-built-in-firewall on the remotely-controlled-PC.
But I have checked the settings of the firewall, and TCP 3389 is on the
exception-list, and I haven't changed ports or anything. And I haven't
checked the "do not allow exceptions".
So why does the firewall block me ? As soon as I turn it off, I can
remote-control it, if turn it on (with the exceptions in place) I can't
connect to the tsweb
