I have a small office with 8 notebook computers running XP
Professional on a peer-to-peer network.

Each notebook is setup with a unique Username and a login
password. I would like to allow each notebook to have
access to shared directories on the other notebooks, using
a single username (i.e. "Guest") and a login password, to
be entered in response to a login dialog from the host
computer. Is this possible?

I have tried everything I can find at
PracticallyNetworked.com.
I seem to always end up geeting an error
message "\\ComputerName is not accessible. You might not
have permission . . ."

WHAT am I doing wrong?

Please someone, I don't have much hair left!!!

I can NOT log in as a Guest, no matter what I try. I get
the message "\\Computername is not accessible. You might
not have permission bla bla bla." It WON'T connect.

I am logged in on computer "A" as UserA, PasswordA.
I want to access a shared directory on computer "B" by
logging onto it remotely as Guest, I don't care if password
or not. The Guest account on computer B is enabled. I
have done everything I can think of. What is wrong?

It shouldn't be this difficult.
