XP File Sharing with Win98

I have a folder share on a system running XP Pro. There
is also a computer on the same network running Win98 SE.
Whenever I try and access the shared folder from the Win98
system, a dialog box pops up asking me for a password, but
for the remote share IPC$. It does not give me an option
to change the accessed share folder. I've tried accessing
this folder from other systems running XP, 2000, & 98, and
this only happens with the systems running 98. Got any
ideas on what it could be and how to solve the issue
without upgrading the OS?

Create a user account on XP Pro with the same user name and password
that you use to log onto Win98 SE. Or, log into Win98 SE with a user
name and password that already exist on XP Pro.
