xp failing to boot

When booting XP it loads to a certain point then just restarts...no error
messages etc...I have tried safe mode etc but it never gets far enough to
allow me to do anything...

Any ideas!!! I need to get my machine back today if possible...

try running a repair on your OS, boot up to the XP CD and run that repair
from that CD.
