xp explorer - two-pane browsing default?

Is there any good way to set the default for win explorer to use a two-pane
"folders" view by default? I would find this much more useful than the blue
shortcut bar in most situations.

I am already running x-setup pro, but didn't see any setting for this in
there...

Thanks in advance for any tips
 
Folder Options -> File Types -> 'Folder' -> Advanced -> hilite 'Explore' and click on 'Set Default'
