I have been posting frequently and am now thinking something is not right
with my brand new laptop...some issues below have been posted and I am still
unable to resolve but there are others :

-Cannot save passwords or auto fill addresses, etc. Have followed all
threads and am at point where I can do something with the Registry but I am a
new PC user and do not feel competent yet to try;

-Cannot always edit. Keyboard shortcuts to cut and paste often do not always
respond;same for Deleting. I will highlight word and nothing happens. This is
in all apps. On IE I cannot delete fields or Back Space. It is erratic and
extremely frustrating-I have expereinced it 6 x while writing this post;

-Erratic loading of pages. Sometimes they load sometimes I have to quit out
and re-open. (Sometimes small toolbar will pop-up with 4icons
-Disc,Print,Mail,)but that will be all ;

-Same for Search from computer (not online)-pages will sometimes just not
respond-ditton in Outlook Express-links will not repond...and sometimes they
will;

-As an odd tag to end with: I went to my Tour Windows XP Tutorial to see if
I was really not doing stuff right and the graphics were awful. I could
barely read the windows in the animated tour-terrible resolution, though
window itself was fine...just the animated part was distorted;

-Outlook Express will not save subscribed or other Newsgroups and asks to
download entire list at each opening (supposed to be a one time thing);

This is my first experience with a PC and am aware that I have a ways to go
on the learning curve but I am Mac literate and think something must be up.
Please help; I have been battling this for almost two weeks. I did do a
Restore to Christmas Day but to no avail. The only software installed was
Adobe Photoshop ELements but I uninstalled in hopes of rectifying issues.(I
did not get a clean uninstall-messasage told me 20 files still remained but
needed to be manually deleted)
Many thanks

Contact the laptop mftr.'s tech support and get a new laptop. It
certainly does sound like yours has hardware issues. Don't wait.
