XP embedded: Receiving an automation error when trying to make an exe in VB6

I have a XP embedded OS which runs visual basic 6 programs but when I
try to make an exe of the program I receive the following error:
automation error the system cannot find the file specified

Any suggestions?

Did you run DependencyWalker (www.dependencywalker.com) against the
application to see what DLLs need to be in the image?
