I have XP Embedded Media(hard disk) in which i need to
install dos on other partition(or in the same partition)
and make it to dual boot.

XP embedded runtime image is on C: which is NTFS. when i
boot from dos bootable floppy and run fdisk, the C:
partition can be seen as FAT16 and not as HPFS. but i
could not see the files in it only the juck characters i
can see.

Any help???

Regards,
Siva.

You can use same partition if C: is FAT.

Or you can use DOS on C: with FAT and ntldr.
and use other partition for NTFS partition with XPE.
Then you can reassign drive letters for XPE from TD. So XPE will be booted
from partition C: although it is located on some higher partition number.

Slobodan
