xp..download problems

When attempting to download video's or even windows player 11 , I get the
message..
Windows cannot access the specfied device, path or file.
you may not have approparte permissions to access this item.

never had this problem in the past any help ?

Hi,
Can you tell us more about your Operating system version(Home or Pro),
Anti-virus and firewall you are using.
Did this just happened, if it did did you tried system restore?.

How many accounts on this machine?.
Run a thorough scan to clean up and see the Firewall settings it may be
blocking this step from accomplishing.
