I just upgraded to XP home on a separate HD in my PC which currently is running ME. The plan is once I get everthing up and running well, I will ax the ME HD and use it for straight storage. However, when I boot in XP it doesnt see the SCSI
Running my UMAX S-6E scanner) on my system but it does when I boot up in ME -- It doesnt even register in the device manager --- does anyone know whats going on?

You will need a driver for the SCSI device and the SCSI interface. Umax
site indicates it is best to remove the old driver prior to update (you
should be able to remove it now), set up the SCSI device and then use
the MagicScan 4.30 version for Win2000. There are no drivers available
for XP, but this allegedly works.
