I have a T1090 Emachine 900 Mhz, 256 Ram 20 Gig HD with a
CD-R and a floppy disk. All of a sudden the CD started
reading the disks but not correctly i.e. Setup was shown
as Sedup, Language read as Lanyuage etc.. I tried using
the recovery disk provided by Emachines but then the
computer locked up, meaning it would show the opening
Emachines screen, then go into the Windows XP Home
edition screen and then it would give an error message as
follows:
The header would say : "ISASS.EXE"
then the body would say : "When trying to update a
password this return status indicates that the value
provided as the correct password is not correct." Then it
goes on to reboot and the whole cycle repeats, over and
over. Cannot boot up using ANY of the options, Safe
Mode...Previous configuration etc...
HELP!! I have never had a password on this machine.

You need to contact Emachines tech support as it is their recovery disk and
procedure that won't run and without and actual XP CD there's virtually
nothing we can offer as you don't have access to any of the other XP tools
or functions that might help resolve the issue.
