My computer has 128MB of RAM installed but after I
performed a Recovery on Windows XP Home Edition, it has
gone very slow and shows 64MB RAM.

Although other aplications that I used to detect my BIOS
show that 128MB is installed.

What should I do to make good that error?

.
if your video card is built into your mother board, your
video and system will share memory. If your video card is
using 64 mb of memory (kinda unlikely) then When you
right click my computer and hit properties you will only
see 64 mb

You might want to upgrade to 256 or 512 since windows XP
takes up a large amount of RAM too.

When you first turn on the computer the BIOS Power On Self Test
(before Windows starts to load) should show how much RAM is detected.
Confirm that it shows the full 128 mb.

When XP has booted up use Start - Run - MSCONFIG
Go to the BOOT.INI tab and click on the Advanced Options button
Make certain that the /MAXMEM checkbox is not selected and that there
is no value in the data box for that line.

Good luck
