Hello all. I'm in the Navy and out to sea and have no where to turn!
My XP Home crashed and after looking at this site
http://www.digitalwebcast.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=8658-1
I thought I had a good plan but I don't get asked for administrative
password and therefore can't copy and delete files like the article
says on the hard disk I get "Access Denied" prompt. SO how can I do
this http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=312149#appliesto
for XP Home so I can restore my computer.
Can some one help me out getting admin access to my Recovery Console!
Thanks Hal

What exactly does "my XP Home crashed" mean? Please describe the errors,

What does "don't get asked for administrative password" mean? What
happens? What is the text of any error messages?

I understand that you are upset. There are lots of people here who want
to help you. Take a deep breath and start a little closer to the
beginning so we can try and figure out what caused your computer to
"crash" and the best way to solve the issue. Also include some
information about your computer.
