I am network admin over about 60 workstations with a
mixture of Windows XP pro, Windows 2000 Pro and Windows 98
clients. The workstations connect to mapped drives on a
windows 2000 server, a Windows 2003 server and a Netware
5.0 server. When accessing the network drives on the XP
clients there is a delay of 30 seconds to 60 seconds
immediately after logon to the network. Primary logon is
through Netware client. After accessing the mapped drives
the first time the response is good on following attempts.
However if it has been several minutes since access has
occurred, the same delay is noticed. Any suggestions
appreciated...
