Hi,
I have Windows 2000 server, using DHCP.
Windows XP client has a mapping to a shared drive on the network.
Frequently when the user goes to browse this mapped drive, an access denied
error occurs.
The user does not lose physical connection, still can ping to server and
receive mail etc.
Restarting the PC and remapping the drive solves the problem temporarily.
Please correct me if I have posted to the wrong group.
Thanks,
C
