40meag programs, cd not readable in win2000 or 98se
used xp built in coping files to cd. Heard about ? patch
to fix issue please help

To save files on a CD which are readable by any CD drive, the CD must be
"closed". Since Windows XP built-in cd-writing does not "close" a cd,
you have lost the ability to read these particular CDs using any other
CD drive than the one you saved them on.

The _only_ solution? "Close" the CD on which the files have been
written. This means that you must purchase or obtain CD-mastering
software which can "close" CDs, then write the files using this
software, then "close" those CDs.
