Thanks for the help but i cant assine a drive letter coz i dont get th
option and the drive isnt shown

Under help i get this:
The Foreign status occurs when you move a dynamic disk to a loca
computer running Windows XP Home Edition from another computer runnin
Windows 2000, or Windows XP Professional. The Foreign status can als
occur on computers running Windows XP Home Edition that are configure
to dual-boot with another operating system that uses dynamic disk
(such as Windows 2000 Professional). Dynamic disks are not supported o
Windows XP Home Edition or on portable computers. A warning ico
appears on disks that display the Foreign status.

To me that says i cant use the disk unless i reformat it coz its from
win2k system
I do have dual boot , this happen some time ago when win2k died so
installed win2k again but this time in a 15gig partition and jus
dumped the old win2k files in the rescicle bin.
Is their any way of removing the duel boot ?
and will this change the foregin status if the outher drive?

I cannot beleave micronoob their must be thousands of people in m
situation. I dont want to give bill a cent to buy Windows X
