XP burning on LG GSA-4163B A105

When i try and burn using XP it keeps asking me to install a blank CD-R. but,
When i use burn4free software there is no problem. Can anyone help?
 
It is probably your CD drives frimware or registry error. Don't bother
using XP to burn CD's. Use third party software. It nearly always
works better.

thanx, will do. it's strange, or maybe not, but it used to work great.
