Windows XP XP Boot Problem

When I turn on my computer it loads up the BIOS screen then it says "Invalid BOOT.INI file bootin from C:/Windows/" and then when the XP "Welcome" Screen shows its on there for very long and in order for it to go I have to press Ctrl, Alt and Delete and then my desktop comes on.
Plz Help on wht I Should do.
 
Thanks I've fixed the Boot.ini file. But the XP Welcome screen stays on forever and to get rid of it I have to Press Ctrl, Alt and Delete.
How can I fix this??
