I have recently installed XP Pro on an Athlon64. It crashes every time I
leave it unattended for a decent innterval and I expect I have driver
trouble. The machine was supplied just with Chipset Drivers. All the others
are XP defaults
The message preceding the last dump was

Stop 0xc0000005, 0xf0ae5300,0x858F0DCC, 0x000000000)
SART.Sys - Address F0ae5300 BaseA,
F0AB60000 Date Stamp 41ba0a1f

Does that give any one any clues as to the nature of the problem

Hi,

Read this link:
http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm
click C5 at the right pane

0x000000C5: DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL
(Click to consult the online MSDN article.)
An attempt occurred to touch invalid memory at a process IRQL that is too
high. This is almost always caused by drivers that have corrupted the system
pool. If you’ve recently installed any new software, check to see if it’s
properly installed; and check for updated drivers on the manufacturer’s web
site.
