When I try to use the xp backupwizard, all goes well
until I get to "backup destination". I assume this means
my cd-r drive.'
Next, "type fuill path and file name that I want in
backup media or file name box." Don't know how to do
this. I have tried "backup file", "backup all" and
others, dates, etc. nothing works. HELP

Just to add, while XP doesn't support backing up directly to CD it can be
done assuming you have additional software installed. You need to have a
packet writing program such as the Direct CD component of Easy CD Creator
installed or the InCD component of Nero.

Failing that, you can backup directly to the hard drive and then copy the
backup file to the CD. This is usually faster by the way than backing up
directly to CD.

Good point. I think Direct CD will "disk span," though I haven't tried it
myself but I believe I saw that on its feature list.
