My aol email screen does not have the right side bar. That is no froward or reply icons. All other aol features work fine and the aol disk I used works on my 1000 e-machine with millenium OK. Have reloaded, restarted, used different aol disks, aol dowloads. All to no avail. I have contacted aol numerous times and they say it is the XP on my laptop. Anyone have any suggestions?.

Dump AOL. I never used to give this trite response but if AOL cannot
solve the problem - which is their problem alone - then AOL is not
providing the customer support you are paying for. Otherwise, are you
sure that you have asked the AOL interface to show that toolbar? If you
have, then toggle it off, then back on again.

Try your tab key when the window with the problem is in the foreground.
(i.e.. has focus)

Adjusting your dpi settings may resolve the problem all together. (display
properties> Settings> Advanced, select custom from the dropdown.) I tried
105 dpi on a laptop @ 1680 x 1050 resolution which brought most of the box
into view.

I agree,AOL problem.Their support not capable to
handle,blam it on something else.Walmart has a great E-
mail for $9.98,I don't use it,but have friends that like
it better than AOL,and cheaper. For me my cable runs good
at 4 Megs,If you have cable running AOL bring your own
access get rid of em.GOOD LUCK they don't take NO for an
answer.Told them I lost my job, cancelled my credit
card,sold my computer,lost my house,they said we'll give
you 2 free months cuz we ain't cancelling you.Told me to
go to library, get on AOL,though I could go anywhere at
the library,hit monster jobs.They won't take NO NO NO.And
they give POOR support!AOL problem!Call em and tell them
IF YOU CAN'T FIX THIS FOR ME BY TONIGHT I'M GOING 2
CANCELLE AND TRY WALMART'S!
