Could anybody inform me as to whether xp is able to work
with a HP Jetdirect 600N EIO Internal Printer Server card
for Token Ring networks (#J3112A). I have been searching
all over, but as of yet haven't even been able to find
information on whether xp is compatable with tolken ring
print servers.

Really appreciate any help

I'm sure it works, for some definition of "work".

You need a Token Ring LAN to connect it to.

You either need a token ring LAN card= in each of your PCs, or you need
a PC somewhere on your ethernet serve as a gateway to the token ring.
It would need an ethernet card and a token ring card in it. If you're
familiar with Token Ring this is a no-brainer, if you don't do
token ring they printer is fine but you need an ethernet jetdirect card.

A web search shows there are w2k and XP drivers for it. Even if they
didn't exist I think the printer would still work via LPR (Unix/TCP)
protocol. That's built into Windows.

Now getting a Tolken Ring printer to work would probably require a wzard.
