Xp and Novell

When I try to open a file from a network drive it is very
slow sometimes it takes up to 5 minutes. I have installed
SP1a for XP and that didn't fix the problem and I have
also installed client 4.83 SP2 for Novell and that didn't
fix the problem either.

You could try to download the Novell client, from
Novell's site and see if that helps you can login to the
server via that instead of using XP's native novell
protocol.
