XP and HP laserjet IIIP won't work

Using HP laserjet IIIP but won't print. No errors showing. Have rebooted
several times. HP is the only printer in the control panel. Sometimes items
in the que but still won't print. Any ideas??

Did it ever print with your current settings? Bad cable or drivers?

If not then what does the printer's self test show? Does that work? If not
you have a dead printer.
