XP and HP deskjet 820Cxi

I have used this printer for many years in Windows 95. I
now find under XP that each time I start up the computer
I get the wizard to install the printer. In fact the
printer has been installed and works ok, what is going on?
There is another small irritation, I like to do two sided
printing but although I had this for years on my previous
set up, I can find no way of doing it now.
 
a) Ensure the LPT port in the BIOS is set to EPP

b) Unfortunately is printer is so old HP decided it was not worth writing
drivers for. Microsoft included drivers so that you can still use the
printer but they may not have the advanced features you were used to.
Download the software from www.fineprint.com and you can regain these
features.
