I have purchased a new computer and wanted to still use my
printer the HP DeskJet 930C. I have downloaded the driver
three times and I am still having trouble with the printer.
It wants to print from back to front. I have entered it
to print front to back but it still prints back to front.
It sometime just shoots the first page through before
printing a page. It just doesn't work the same as it did.
Do you have any suggestions? I have a question? When I
was downloading the driver, it asked me the question as to
what was the connection to my printer. It had USB so I
clicked on it and it didn't work. I clicked on L-- 3
(something like that) and it went through. The printer
icon that was added to the print page under the control
panel with series written at the end, when I check it to be
the deflaut prinnter, it doesn't work. I have to select
the one I have on there which is listed DeskJet
930C/932C/935C/. Then it works but only like I described
above. What should I do? Please help.

Use System Restore to set the system back to a date before you installed the
printer.

Download the printer driver and save it to disk. Read the installation
instructions and be sure _not_ to connect the printer to the computer until
the instructions direct.

Usually, with USB connected printers, the driver is installed before the
printer is connected. That way, the software will detect the type of
connection and install the correct support.

If system restore is not operational or there are other problems, let us
know. We'll try "plan b".
