Xp and ATI Radeon 9600Pro clash

I have a P4 2.4, Ga-8SIMLH m/b, 384mb ddr266 with a ATI
9600pro 256mb display card. XP Pro keeps crashing and
when I reboot a message appears which says that it is my
ATI card causing the error. I have all the latest drivers
and files loaded. With Windows ME everything runs fine.

Did you also install the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard?

Does this include the AGP drivers for the SIS chipset that the board uses?
