XP and AOL v8.0

All,

Whilst using XP with AOL the computer seems to hang. I
have reinstalled AOL's drivers numerous times but to no
avail. Can you suggest why this may be happening, and a
remedy to the problem?

Why are you posting this here, when it's clearly off-topic. Just because
you're running it under XP, doesn't make this the correct place to post. MS
cannot be held responsible for AOHELL's lack of quality and/or support.
 
AOL 8.0 worked for me under XP, but I was less stable than I would have
liked.

I have found AOL 9.0 to be much better. Less dropped connections, no hung
computer, and the spam controls are definitely a step in the right
direction.
