Hi,

I've recently installed XP [newly built computer], activated XP, then wanted
to redo my partitions so I re-installed XP. Now I'm hesitant to re-activate
XP because I don't want to hit any snags after having already activated it.
Can anyone tell me if my paranoia is justified? Will I end up with only 3
days to straighten this out w/Microsoft or lose my access to Windows if I
try to re-activate XP? Because if this is the case I'd rather start jumping
through the hoops before I'm denied the use of my computer.

Thanks for any info.

Hi

See if the following article by MVP Alex Nichol helps:

"Windows Product Activation (WPA) on Windows XP"

Hi,

Shouldn't be an issue, you can reactivate on the same hardware as many times
as you please.

Yes, activation took less than a minute. Thanks again.
