xp 100% cpu usage

Had problems with XP freezing noticed the cpu is running at 100% is this
normal or something I can do to cut down the usage. running athlon 1 Gig
256 mem epox motherboard 133 running

Start by running XP's Task Manager to see what is using the CPU. To invoke
TM, use the three-finger salute: CTRL-ALT-DEL.

You need to check which process using 100% CPU
