In old days of Windows 95, I used to run Xmouse (from Power Toys Set)
to make the focus follow your mouse without clicking in the same way
X Windows does.
Looking for the same for XP.

Thanks

This tweak allows you to bring running programs to the foreground
just by moving you mouse of the application window.
This is similar to the X-Mouse feature found on UNIX.
For XP:
1.
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop key UserPreferencesMask was '90 12 00 80'
plus '41'(hex) now the value is "d1 12 00 80"
2.
New key ActiveWindowTracking (value '1') added to HKCU\Control Panel\Mouse

This tweak and many others is also available in Microsoft's Tweak UI
