Let me preface this by saying I'm a computer illiterate slob.

I'm runing XP sp2 home editon.
My, \Documents and Settings\Owner\LocalSettings\Temp file,
recently is over run with literally dozens of identical copys of a 691KB
"IMT", XML Document.
Containing a tools info. list from, Accessibility Options to Windows Product
Activation Wizard, in them.
They haven't been there in anywhere near as large a number in the recent
past and they remain after running Disk Cleanup.

Can someone please give me information on the subject to ease my concerns
that, I have a problem I should be concerned about?, or if I'm just being
paranoid.
Is it normal to have that many copies of the same XML?
If not normal how to resolve the problem?

Thanks for your time..

I usually see a bunch of these .xml files after using certain web based
help files - the ones that have "live" search capabilities and include
results drawn from a live internet connection. XML files are an HTML hybrid
document.

Disk Cleanup only delete files more than 7 (or is it 14?) days old. If the
files are more recent than that, they will be untouched by the cleanup
tool. You can, however, delete them manually.

Thanks Sharon, Thats what I needed to know.
I do use help quite a bit trying to get more up to speed, creating my own
quandary in the process.
Glad to hear I haven't made a blunder that will plague me in the future.
