XML file download problems

I am attempting to D/L a large XML file. Everytime I try to D/L the file, IE
trys to open the file, and then freezes. How can I get IE to not attempt to
open the file, but just D/L it?

Right-click on the link and select "save link as...". (I'm not sure
of the exact option because I don't use MSIE when not forced to, but
I know there's an option to save a file instead of opening it.)
